ORDER: The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’) by the petitioner/Accused No.2 for granting of pre-arrest bail in connection with Crime No.55 of 2025 of Kuppam Urban Police Station, Chittoor District, registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 118(1) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNS’). The case of the prosecution is that on 05.03.2025, the accused
2. No.2 and her husband attached the defacto-complainant, their daughter and others with a sharp knife causing severe injuries. The incident occurred due to a love marriage disputes between the defacto- complainant and the accused family. The injured were shifted to the hospital. Basing on the statement recorded by the police, the police registered a case in Crime No.55 of 2025 of Kuppam Urban Police Station, Chittoor District. Sri V.N.V.Surya Dattu, the
learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence; she was falsely implicated in this case; she is ready to abide any conditions to be imposed by this Court; and it is urged to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner/Accused No.2.

4. Prosecutor, opposed in granting of pre-arrest bail stating that investigation is not completed; if the petitioner is enlarged on pre-arrest i bail, she would not be available for the investigation and she will repeat the same offence; and it is urged to dismiss the bail application.
5. Perused the record.
6. The petitioner/Accused No.2 is the mother-in-law of the defacto- complainant. The allegation against the petitioner is that she caught hold the defacto-complainant while another accused was allegedly stabbed the defacto-complainant with a knife.
7. In view of the nature of the allegations levelled against the petitioner and the alleged role played by the petitioner, this Court does not deem it fit to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioner. However, the
learned counsel for the petitioner requests this Court to grant liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the learned jurisdiction Magistrate concerned and move an appropriate application for her release before the Special Court concerned.
8. In the result, the Criminal Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the learned jurisdiction Magistrate concerned within a period of one (01) week from the date of receipt o^ copy of this order and move an appropriate application before th
