The petitioners (32 in numbers) have filed the present writ petition challenging the communication dated 13.05.2025, issued by the Deputy Page No.# 8/9 Commissioner, East Kameng District, Seppa, whereby the Director (Printing), Government Printing Press, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, was requested to withhold publication of any Gazette notification pertaining to change of title/surnames from Taku to Tana clan in respect of the petitioners, until further instructions from the said office. 3. It is submitted that the matter has now been amicably settled between the Tana Abb Welfare Society and the Taku Welfare Society. 4. Ms. Pangu, learned Government Advocate, while placing on record the letter dated 18.11.2025, written by the Deputy Commissioner, East Kameng District, Seppa, addressed to the Director (Printing), Government Printing Press, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, submits that since the dispute has been amicably resolved between the aforesaid Welfare Societies, the Deputy Commissioner has, by the said letter, already requested the Director (Printing), Government Printing Press, to proceed with the publication of the Gazette notification for change of title/surnames in respect of the petitioners. 5. The said letter dated 18.11.2025 is taken on record and marked as document ‘X’ for identification. 6. In view of the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 3, i.e., the Director (Printing), Government Printing Press, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, to take necessary steps for publication of the names of the petitioners (32 in numbers) in the Gazette, as per the forwarding of the application for Gazette notification, annexed as Annexure-5 series of the writ petition, and the letter dated 18.11.2025, issued Page No.# 9/9 by the Deputy Commissioner, East Kameng District, Seppa. 7.
