Heard Mr. A. Lal, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. M. Kato, learned DSGI for all the respondents. This is an application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963, seeking condonation of delay of 230 days in preferring the connected writ appeal against the judgment and order dated 11.12.2024, passed in WP(C) No. 28(AP)/2018. The ground for delay in preferring the appeal is explained in paragraph 11 of the condonation application. We have considered the grounds stated in the above paragraph explaining the cause of delay. On consideration, we find that the applicant was prevented by sufficient cause from preferring the appeal on time. Moreover, Mr. Kato, learned DSGI, has raised no objection to condoning the delay. In view of the above, the delay of 230 days in preferring the connected appeal is hereby condoned. With the above, the interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of.
