Also heard Mr. Bankim Sarma, the learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the Wild Life. 2. This is an application under Section 389 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for suspension of sentence and for releasing the applicant on bail. 3. Mr. Sarma has objected to this Interlocutory Application. 4. I have gone through the judgment. I have also considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. After hearing the learned counsel of both sides, it is hereby directed that the sentence imposed upon the applicant Sri Raju Das @ Babu by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge (FTC)-cum- Special Judge, Sivasagar in Special (WL) Case No.01/202 shall remain suspended till disposal of the connected appeal. 6. The appellant Sri Raju Das @ Babu shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge (FTC)-Cum-Special Judge, Sivasagar.
