It is further submitted that the property is presently leased out to the State Bank of India, Atmakur Branch. The petitioner also filed O.S. No. 38 of 2015 for the eviction of the bank. Although the suit was settled in Lok Adalat, an execution petition was subsequently filed as the bank did not adhere to the terms of the settlement. 2. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner subsequently entered into a fresh lease agreement with the bank, and lease rentals are being received by the petitioner as of date. It is also submitted that the vendor’s name of the petitioner is still reflecting in the municipal records, and in that regard, the petitioner has submitted a copy of the sale deed for effecting mutation in his name. 4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing counsel for the 2^^ respondent. 5. As per the Municipality Act, 1965, and the Property Tax Rules, 2020 the application for mutation would have to be considered in accordance with the provisions of the Municipality Act and its rules, and necessary orders would have to be passed on the representation of the petitioner. %■ 3 6. With these observations, this writ petition is disposed off. At any rate, the 2’'^ respondent shall dispose off the representation of the petitioner within a period of six (06) weeks, subject to the petitioner submitting the relevant forms required for effecting the mutation and payment of the necessary fees in accordance with law.
