Having regard to the limited nature of controversy and an innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2-SDM Marh, Jammu to ensure the disposal of the application filed by the petitioner and the action taken in this respect by the concerned SDPO within a period of three weeks from the date copy of this order is made available.
