In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Suraksha Nagarik Sanhita in connection with Bharatpur PS Case No.43 of 2025 dated 19.02.2025 under Sections 137(2)/140(3) of the BNSS. And In the matter of: Sudip Pal @ Raja Pal
….Applicant/Petitioner.
Mr. Manas Kumar Das Mr. Aritra Kumar Thokdar
….for the petitioner Mr. Sibangi Chattopadhyay
…for the de facto Ms. Sayanti Santra Ms. Chandreyi Dutta
..for the State
Compliance report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record.
Heard the learned counsels for the parties.
Considering the serious nature of the allegations and the statement of the 15 years old minor victim girl recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS, I do not consider that this is to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
