Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:30674 Court No. - 7 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 2674 of 2025 Petitioner :- Sweta Verma Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 6 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Devendra Kumar Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Girijesh Kumar Tripathi Hon'ble Jayant Banerji,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri G.K.Tripathi, learned counsel appears for respondent nos.2, 6 and 7 and learned standing counsel appears for other respondents. 2. The petitioner seeks compassionate appointment. Pursuant to the demise of her husband during Covid-19 the petitioner had applied for compassionate appointment by means of an application dated 15.07.2021 addressed to the District Basic Education Officer, Shahjahanpur. By a communication dated 21.09.2021 the application aforesaid of the petitioner was disposed of on the ground that though the petitioner had qualification of M.A., B.Ed. and bridge course but she had not qualified TET. It appears that the petitioner thereafter obtained qualification of TET and submitted another application online being application no.8797. 3. The apparent reason given by respondents for rejecting the application submitted online by the petitioner was that the application mentions her educational qualification as B.Ed. but it was not mentioned for which post the application had been made and that there is no provision for appointing a B.Ed. 4. It appears that the petitioner submitted another application dated 16.12.2024 to the District Basic Education Officer, Shahjahanpur seeking compassionate appointment enclosing therewith her educational qualifications and other certificates. This application is pending with respondent no.6, District Basic Education Officer, Shahjahanpur. Learned counsel for respondents no.2, 6 and 7 states that aforesaid application dated 16.12.2024 will be decided at an early date. 5. This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of directing respondent no.6 District Basic Education Officer, Shahjahanpur to decide representation dated 16.12.2024 (Annexure-11 to the writ petition) within a period of one month from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order before it.
