JUSTICE ANIL KSHETARPAL HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT MAHAJAN O R D E R % 20.04.2026 1. On 02.09.2025, the following order was passed:- “CM APPL. 55012/2025 (Exemption) 1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. 2. The application stands disposed of. W.P.(C) 13417/2025 3. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that, contrary to the recommendation certificate for alternate employment issued by the Disability Medical Board Northern Railway, which has specifically found that he is not fit for dealing with arms and ammunition, the petitioner has been directed to proceed with six weeks orientation course for arms and ammunition training. 4. Despite advance notice, none appears for the respondents. 5. Issue notice to show cause as to why rule nisi be not issued. 6. At our request, notice is graciously accepted in the matter by Mr. Rohan Jaitly, learned CGSC, who is present in court. 7. Counter affidavit, if any, be filed within four weeks with advance copy to learned Counsel for the petitioners who may file rejoinder thereto within four weeks thereof. 8. Today, learned counsel representing the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner may be given any non-operational/administrative posting. 3. Learned counsel representing the Respondents submits that the request of the Petitioner shall be considered in view of his medical condition. 4. Keeping in view the aforesaid position, the present Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to consider the Petitioner’s request within a period of four weeks from today.
