2 for respondents No.1 and 2/State. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :-
“It is therefore, prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to exercise its inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. and in exercise thereof admit the petition, call for the records and after hearing the parties in the matter, quash the entire criminal proceedings in Criminal Case No.2141/2017 (State vs. Vikas Jain & anr) arising out of Crime No.660/2016 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Raipur for the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B, 34 of IPC, so far as it to petitioner herein, being abuse of process of court and abuse of process of law and also in violation of petitioner’s fundamental rights and in peculiar factual matrix of case and in interest of justice.”
3. Learned Deputy Government Advocate appearing for respondents No.1 and 2/State submits that he has filed an application for taking affidavit on record and submits that supplementary charge- sheet has been filed against the petitioner. 4. Relevant portion of the affidavit states as under:-

That, in compliance of the Hon’ble Court’s order dated 02.09.2025, it is most humbly and respectfully submitted that, the office of the Deponent on behalf of the Investigating Officer of the subject crime number, is hereby filing the copy of the supplementary charge
3 sheet filed against the petitioner before this Hon’ble Court for its kind consideration and proper adjudication of the instant petition, copy whereof, is being annexed herewith as ANNEXURE R/1 for kind perusal of this Hon’ble Court. 4. That, the Deponent herein is duty bound to adhere and comply with the direction issued by this Hon’ble Court from time to time and it shall be his most sincere endeavour to ensure implement action with the coordination of the Police Officials as early as possible. 4. That, the Deponent has highest regards to the directions passed by the Hon’ble Court from time to time and as and when, any further direction be made by the Hon’ble Court, the same will be complied with in its true spirit.” The affidavit is taken on record. 5. In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to take recourse to law against the supplementary charge-sheet. 6. Permission is granted. 7. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to take recourse to law against the supplementary charge- sheet.
