The instant petition under Section 29-A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of another six months time for completion of arbitration proceedings. 2. It is averred that this Court vide order dated 31.03.2023 passed in Arb P No. 12 of 2022 has referred the dispute in relation to the Agreement dated 25.05.2017 and addendum to agreement dated 17.07.2017 executed between the Sr. No. 17 2 Arb P No.18/2025 parties to sole Arbitrator Shri Suresh Kumar Sharma, Retired District and Sessions Judge, Jammu. 3. On examination of the contents of the petition, coupled with submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and on no objections by Mr. Raman Sharma, learned counsel for the respondents, this petition is allowed by extending further period of six months from the date of passing of this order for completion of arbitration proceedings in terms of order dated 31.03.2023 passed in Arb P No.12/2022 in accordance with law. The intervening period is hereby regularized. 4. Disposed of as above. 5. Registry to communicate a copy of this order to the learned Arbitrator.
