Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gidhour P.S. Case No. 52 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 308(3), 308(4), 351(3) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Smt. S.S. Minz, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra. 3. On 09.08.2024, the petitioner is alleged to have demanded rangdari from the informant by using his mobile phone. The petitioner is member of TSPC, which is a banned naxal Organization. 4. Learned Spl. P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is accused in as many as five cases of similar nature. 5. In view of the submission made above, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. 6. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
