ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief/s:-

2. Heard Sri V. Nitesh,
learned counsel for petitioners, and learned Government Pleader for Services-I for respondents. Petitioners are presently working as Mahila Police and Women & Child Welfare Assistants at Vasanthapeta of Proddatur Town and Mandal, YSR Kadapa District. They are stated to be office bearers of Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association, Proddatur Taluk Unit, having been elected to the positions of Organizing Secretary and Joint Secretary respectively in the elections held and certified by Election Officer on 15.01.2025, and

r 4 CGR,J W.P.No.16913 of 2025 this is their first term as office bearers. Even the Association has addressed letters dated 19.05.2025 to 3^^^ respondent intimating the factum of petitioners holding designation of office bearers. However, by radio message issued on 28.06.2025, list of all candidates has been circulated, calling for counselling for effecting transfers, which included petitioners at SI.Nos.427 and 418 respectively. Petitioners have made representations dated 28.06.2025 and respectively to respondent requesting to retain them in the 16.06.2025 existing stations, as they are holding the positions of office bearers and are exempt in terms of G.O.Ms.No.23, Finance (HR.I-PLG & Policy) Department, dated 15.05.2025, which pending. are stated to be Petitioners, on apprehension that they would be transferred without considering the exemption for which they entitled to under the aforesaid G.O., filed the present writ petition. are
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents would submit that the request of petitioners would be considered in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.23 dated 15.05.2025 before effecting any transfers.
5. In view of aforesaid submissions, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, with the consent of both the learned counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the admission stage, directing 3'^'^ respondent to consider the petitioners’ representations
