A JAYANTHI The Court made the following: ::ORDER :: The above contempt case is filed complaining about the non- implementation of the order dated 08.05.2024 in W.P.No.5997 of 2024. 2. Heard Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri K.M. Krishna Reddy and Smt. A. Jayanthi, learned counsel, appeared for the respondents. 3. The petitioners filed W.P.No.5997 of 2024 to declare the action of the respondent authorities in not paying the enhanced compensation in terms of the judgment and decree passed in LAAS No.67 of 2022 in LAOP No.111 of 1991 on the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge, Gudur. 4. The writ petition was disposed of on 08.05.2024, directing the respondents to deposit the amount payable to the petitioners, to the credit of E.P.No.65 of 2023 in LAOP No.111 of 1991 on the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge, Gudur. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that pending the contempt case, an amount of Rs.2,31,40,998/- and Rs.1,44,77,787/- was deposited to the credit of E.P.No.65 of 2023 and would contend that the order dated 08.05.2024 in W.P.No.5997 of 2024 has been complied with. 6. Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned counsel for the petitioners, would submit that if the petitioners are not paid the interest till the date of payment, the petitioners will pursue the same in the Execution Petition. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, this contempt case is closed, giving liberty to the petitioners to pursue their entitlement or right, if any, concerning the interest, in the Execution Petition. No order as to costs.
