This is the First bail application filed under Section 483 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 192/2025 registered at Police Station Telibandha, District – Raipur (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act. 2. The prosecution's case, in brief, is that the complainant has given information to the concerned police station that the appellant was moving knife at open place and on such information, the police has seized knife and has registered the case under section 25, 27 of the Arms Act against PREETI KUMARI Digitally signed by PREETI KUMARI Date: 2025.07.18 18:18:31 +0530
2 the present applicant. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that the applicant has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that no ingredients of offence punishable under Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act is found against the applicant. Additionally, he submits that the applicant has been in jail since 07.04.2025 and the conclusion of the trial may take some time, therefore, he prays for grant of regular bail to the applicant. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State/non-applicant would oppose the bail application of the applicant and submits that there are total 13 previous criminal antecedents against the applicant from the year 2007 to 2022, therefore, he is not entitled for grant of regular bail. 5. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the case diary. 6.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, nature and gravity of the offence and further, considering the fact that there are total 13 previous criminal antecedents against the applicant and the details of which has not been explained by learned counsel for the applicant, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the present applicant. 7. Accordingly, the bail application of the applicant – Ravi Sonwani @ Ravi Sona, involved in Crime No. 192/2025 registered at Police Station Telibandha, District – Raipur (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, is rejected. 8. Office is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance forthwith. - Sd/-
