Application is accordingly disposed of. Order on Writ Petition 1. Heard Mr. Anup Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Rai, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The instant petition has been filed for the following relief. "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Consolidation Officer, Gopalapur, District Gorakhpur to decide the Case No.0149/2024 (Computerized Case No.202454053135060149) (Lichi and others Versus Saiyyad Danish Ali and others) (Old No.166 of 1990) pending before him expeditiously within a specified period." 3. This Court vide order dated 11.03.2025 directed the Consolidation Officer, Goplapur, Gorakhpur to appear before this Court along with the report, as to why, the proceeding has not been concluded even after expiry of more than 35 years. 4. In compliance of the order of this Court, Consolidation Officer, Goplapur, Gorakhpur is present before this Court. He submitted that he joined as Consolidation Officer, Goplapur, Gorakhpur on 28.8.2024. He further submitted that the final argument has been heard in the matter and order will be delivered on 24.03.2025. 5. Considering the facts mentioned in the instruction as well as in the affidavit filed in support of the exemption application, the instant petition is finally disposed of directing the Respondent No.2- Consolidation Officer, Goplapur, Gorakhpur to pass final order in the pending proceedings on 24.03.2025.
