Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:28153 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 7900 of 2025 ------- Sujul Kumar @ Shajul Kumar, aged about 23 years, son of Late Mohan Ram, resident of village VTC Asdhir, P.O. Lupung, P.S. Katkamsandi, District Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. …... …. Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand .…. …. Opp. Party -------- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH -------- For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. N. P. Sarthi, Advocate For the State : Mr. Satish Prasad, A.P. P. -------- 02/ Dated 15.09.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Katkamsandi P.S. Case No. 103 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 363, 366-A, 504, 506 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri Alok Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Hazaribag. Petitioner is alleged to have enticed the minor daughter of the informant to leave her lawful guardianship with an intention to marry her. From perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the statement of the victim has been recorded under Section 183 B.N.S.S., in which, she has stated that she has left her lawful guardianship according to her own wish and has married the petitioner. It appears to be a case of adolescent love affairs between the parties. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Alok Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Hazaribag, or his successor, in connection with Katkamsandi P.S. Case No. 103 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
