The writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive prayer:- “(a) That the respondents may kindly be directed to pay Overstay Allowance from fourth year of petitioner’s stay in Recongpeo Unit till his relieving on 07.04.2021 along with interest at market rate till such time the payment is made.” 3. Learned vice counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief prayed for by the petitioner and 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 the issue raised by him in the writ petition are squarely covered in terms of the decision rendered in Devender Chauhan Versus Himachal Road Transport Corporation and another2. 4. Learned vice counsel appearing for the respondents has placed on record office communication dated 05.03.2024 from the Executive Director, Himachal Road Transport Corporation and on that basis submits that petitioner’s case for grant of overstay allowance has been considered in light of the decision in Devender Chauhan2 and appropriate order has already been passed in his favour. Drawing limit of overstay allowance in favour of the petitioner was sanctioned on 11.03.2024. Taking note of the submissions made by learned vice counsel appearing for the respondents and documents placed on record, this writ petition to stand disposed of. Petitioner is, however, at liberty to avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law, in case he feels aggrieved by the decision of the respondents.
