Khagemba, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. L. Raju, learned counsel for the respondent no. 1 and Mr. P. Tamphamani, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2. [2] The present contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of the direction in judgment & order dated 08.04.2024 passed by this Court in W.P. (C) No. 801 of 2022 whereby, the respondents were directed to hold special D.P.C. with respect to petitioner nos. 1 & 2. On last date, this Court was informed that verification for the sport certificate submitted by the petitioners were underway and genuineness of the sport certificate was called from the Director (YAS), Govt. of Manipur for checking the genuineness of the sport certificate submitted by the petitioners herein and prayed for some time for compliance. [3] Vide order dated 29.10.2025, this Court permitted time for compliance, failing which the respondent no. 2 was directed to appear in person today. Respondent no. 2 has filed an application for dispensing personal appearance on the ground that they have given appointment to the petitioner no. 1 and with respect to the certificate of the petitioner no. 2 verification is awaited from the Amateur Taekwondo Federation of India, Meghalaya requested vide letter dated 14.11.2025. It is submitted that the verification is awaited from the federation and some more time may be given to do the needful getting after OINAM THOIB A MEITEI Digitally signed by OINAM THOIBA MEITEI Date: 2025.11.17 17:09:12 +05'30' necessary documents from the Amateur Taekwondo Federation of India, Meghalaya. [4] In the circumstances, it is submitted that it may take some more time for compliance to the petitioner no. 2 and inability to comply fully is due to the reason stated herein. It is submitted that the personal appearance of the respondent no. 2 may be dispensed and he is ready to comply the directions of this Court. [5] In the circumstances, 3(three) week’s time is granted to the respondent no. 2 for submitting compliance report. [6] List these cases on 08.12.2025 [7] Accordingly, the MC(Cont.
