JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER 28.10.2025 This application under Order 1 Rule 10 read with Section 151 CPC has been filed praying for impleadment of the new incumbent, Sh. Robin Lalrinawma, the new Chief Engineer, PWD (Highways), Aizawl, Mizoram as respondent No. 16. Heard Ms. Valentina Laldinpuii, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner. Also heard Mrs. Mary L. Khiangte, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 10 to 12, 14 and 15. It is stated that the applicant/petitioner has filed the connected Contempt Case(C) No. 12/2023 alleging willful disobedience of the Order dated 17.08.2022 passed in WP(C) No. 128/2021. It is stated that during the pendency of the said Contempt Case (C) No. 12/2023, the post of Chief Engineer(Highways), PWD, Government of Mizoram has been taken over by the new incumbent Sh. Robin Lalrinawma. Due to the above situation, it has now become necessary to implead the new incumbent as respondent No. 16 in the connected contempt petition. Hence, the present application has been preferred. Page No.# 4/4 Upon considering the prayer of the learned counsel and the pleadings in the application, the application is allowed.
