ORDER:
1. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the Home Department.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is facing trial in S.T.C. No.1656 of 2023 and S.T.C. No.1657 of 2023 on of the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Parchur, Prakasam District. It is submitted that the petitioner is a seed trader and is apprehending danger to his life and limb. It is submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint on 25.05.2023 with the Station House Officer, Meerpet Police Station, Rachakonda District, Telangana State, against the offenders who tried to trespass into his house.
3. The petitioner apprehends threat to his life as and when he is required before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Parchur, for the the file to appear purpose of trial in S.T.C. No.1656 of 2023 and 1657 of 2023. As such, the petitioner seeks a direction from this Court to the police to provide escort from his residence to the court and back to the residence.
4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the police have registered a case in Crime No.150 of 2023 of Parchur Police Station, for the alleged offences under Sections 420, 406, 409, 506 read with 34 of against the petitioner and his wife and another. It is submitted l.P.C.
3 WP No.136 of 2025 that the petitioner is absconding from the date of registration of the crime.
5. There are no valid grounds which warrant interference of this Court in Hence, this Court is inclined to issuing a direction as prayed for. dismiss the writ petition.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed without costs.
7. Miscellaneous petitions, if any. pending in this writ petition shall stand Sd/-SHAIK MOHD RAF! ASSISTANT REGISTRAR closed.
