JUSTICE KAUSHIK GOSWAMI ORDER 28.11.2025 Heard Mr. T Lalzekima, learned counsel for the applicants. By way of this interlocutory application, the applicants are seeking substitution of the deceased sole respondent, i.e., C. Lalhmuaka to be substituted by his wife, Smt. Khinsangi, residing at Sethlun, Lunglei, Mizoram-796701 in the connected RFA No. 45/2025. It appears that during the pendency of the connected regular first appeal, the sole respondent died on 03.10.2024. A copy of the death certificate annexed as Annexure- 1 indicates that he is survived by his wife, Smt. Khinsangi. In view of the above, the prayer for substitution of the deceased sole respondent is allowed. Deceased C. Lalhmuaka be substituted by his surviving wife, Smt. Khinsangi in the connected RFA No. 45/2025. Let an amended cause title be submitted in the connected RFA No. 45/2025.
