Heard Sri Bonu Raina Shankara Rao, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Sri K.Sandeep, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent/State. 3. Perused the record. 4. Having heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the record, l't is seen that on 20.09.2024,bthe raiding party arrested Al to A5 and recovered 25 kgs of ganja from them, after whl-ch they were remanded to judicial custody. The present petitioner Its A5. The earlier bail appll-catl'on, CrI.P.No.8756 of 2024, filed by the petitioner/A5 was dismissed on 21.12.2024 on the premise that there were criminal antecedents against hl'm. 5. The learned Assl'stant Public Prosecutor appearing for the state opposes the Prayer. 7. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the Petitioner Was allegedly involved I-n crimes earlier, none of them went to trial, resulting in any conviction. The petitioner has been in judicI-aI Custody for more than four months. 8. Considering the fact that the major portion of the investigation is over, continued detention is not necessary. Hence, the prayer is granted. 9. ln view of the said circumstances, the criminal petition is allowed. Petitioner herein/A5 shall be enlarged on bail on executing a personal bonds for a sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) with two Sureties Of the ll-ke sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I- AdditionaI District and Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram. The s 3,if \ I| petitioner is permitted to furnish the sureties from the State of Andhra pradesh. Petitioner/A5 shall mark his attendance before the Investigating officer on lSt and 15th of every month between 10,00 A.M. and 1.00 P.M. till filing of the charge sheet. Petitioner/A5 shall make himself available for investigation by a police officer as and when required, and he shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any persons acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer. He shall not indulge in similar acts of crime and shall duly attend the trial of the case.
