JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR JUDGMENT / ORDER Date : 18-11-2025 Heard Mr. Victor L. Ralte, learned counsel for the applicant. The counsel for the applicant submits that the proposed respondent No.8 i.e. Shri. Vanlalmawia, who holds the post of Secretary, Land Revenue & Settlement Department, Government of Mizoram, Aizawl has been holding the post since 09.09.2024 and the copy of the order dated 21.11.2024 was served on 29.11.2024. He therefore submits that the said proposed respondent No.8 has notice of the order of this court and has yet failed to Page No.# 2/2 ensure complete compliance of the order. He submits that in such circumstances, it is necessary to implead the said respondent as the party respondent No.7 in the Cont. Case (C) No. 18/2025. With regard to the proposed respondent No. 7 in the I.A(C), the learned counsel for the applicant submits that he has recently joined the office and therefore, the petitioner may be allowed the opportunity to serve the copy of the order passed in WP(C) No. 103/2023 on the said respondent to make him aware about the order passed by this Court and also about the pendency of this contempt petition. The prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant is allowed. Shri. Vanlalmawia, Secretary, Land Revenue & Settlement Department, Government of Mizoram, Aizawl is allowed to be impleaded as respondent No.7 in Cont. Case (C) No. 18/2025. The petitioner shall furnish an amended cause title to the Registry within 3(three) working days from today and the Registry shall carry out the necessary correction in the CIS system. The petitioner would be at liberty to file a fresh I.A(C) for impleadment of the proposed respondent No.7 after service of notice upon him as proposed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
