This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of the 2nd and 3rd respondent in registering the crime against the named accused in the complaint of the petitioner dt.09.09.2020 as illegal arbitrary unconstitutional and contrary to the judgment of the Honble Supreme Court and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner against the accused and to take up investigation.”
2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the disputes between the parties are purely civil in nature.

3. For ready reference, the written instructions are extracted hereunder:
“Since the dispute comes under the purview of Civil in Nature, the Police did not take any action against respondent, as the powers of the Police have been vested not to interfere into the affairs of civil disputes.”
4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedies before appropriate forum in accordance with law There shall be no order as to costs.
