Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Judge (Oral) It is heartening to note that with the proactive role played by the learned Mediator Smt. Rita Goswami, Sr. Advocate, the parties have compromised the matter in the following terms: 3. Both the parties have agreed that first installment of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lacs) will be paid by the appellant to the respondent on or before 10.04.2025 and second installment of Rs. 2,00,000/-(Two Lacs) on or before 10.05.2025. Both the parties have further agreed that third installment/remaining amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lacs) shall be paid by the appellant to the respondent on or before 10.06.2025. The aforesaid amount shall be transferred by the appellant to the respondent in the following bank account: Punjab National Bank (PNB), Account No. 1713000100182309. 4. Both the parties have further agreed that on receipt of the full settlement amount, the respondent-Smt. Ram Dei 2 2025:HHC:10401 shall have no further claims against the appellant-Shri Tikam Ram regarding alimony, maintenance, or any other legal rights arising out of their matrimonial relationship. Respondent has further agreed that she has no objection, if, the Hon'ble Court allows the appeal of the appellant i.e. F.A.O. (F.C) No. 51 of 2024 titled Tikam Ram vs. Ram Dei which is pending in this Hon'ble High Court of H.P. Both the parties have undertaken that they shall remain bound by the terms and conditions of this compromise. 5. Both the parties have further agreed that they shall file appropriate proceedings before the Hon'ble Court for the grant of decree of divorce by mutual consent for dissolution of their marriage. 6. Both the parties as well as learned counsel for the parties have requested that this matter alongwith the mediation report may kindly be listed before the Hon'ble High Court of H.P., on 11.04.2025, on which date both the parties have undertaken that they shall remain present in the Hon'ble Court, so that final order is passed. 2. The compromise shall form part of the decree. The appeal is disposed of on the basis of the compromise. However, it is made clear that in case any one of the parties has any grievance with regard to the non-compliance or non- adherence to the compromise, they are at liberty to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
