Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 209 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 275, 276, 317(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, Section 47(a), 52(D), 55 of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. 3. On 04.07.2025, Gumla Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a truck baring Registration No. UP-25CT-2916 from Khora Patrotoli and seized 1020 cartons of beer. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is the driver of the seized truck. It was further submitted that the petitioner was acting at the instance of the owner of the seized vehicle. It was finally submitted that co-accused Sharif Khan @ Sarif @ Sarik Khan, who was also arrested at the spot, has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No. 7635 of 2025. 5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla, in connection with Gumla P.S.
