PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.875 of 2020, on the file of Nandigama Police Station, Krishna District. 2. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of instructions of the Station House Officer, Nandigama Police Station, Krishna District wherein it is stated that after due investigation, the case ended up in acquittal on 23.01.2025 under Section 235(1) Cr.P.C., by the Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court for Trial of NDPS Act cases, Machilipatnam vide Spl.Sc.No.34 of 2022 and that the accused were found not guilty for the offence under Section 34-A of A.P. Excise Act, 1968 and amendment Act No.20208(c) read with 20(b)(II)(c) of the NDPS Act, 1985. 3. In view of the fact that the case ended up in acquittal as the accused were found not guilty for the aforementioned offences, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders would be necessary in the present petition. 4. Accordingly, this criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous.
