Zothankhuma, J Heard Mr. Arenlong, learned counsel for the applicant, who submits that there is a delay of 1075 days in filing the appeal against the judgement of conviction of the applicant under sections 10 & 12 of the POCSO Act. Mr.K. Angami, learned APP, Nagaland, submits that he does not have any comments to make if the delay is condoned. On considering the fact that the matter pertains to the personal liberty of the convict, we are of the view that delay should be condoned.
