Also heard Mr. Imti Imsong, learned Additional AG appearing for the respondent no. 1 and Mr. C. T. Jamir, learned Page No.# 2/3 counsel appearing for the opposite party nos. 2 and 3. No one appears on behalf of the respondent no. 4. The present interlocutory application has been instituted by the applicants/petitioners praying for permission to substitute the original respondent no. 2 with his legal heirs. I have heard the learned counsels for the parties and also perused the contentions made in the present interlocutory application. As projected in the interlocutory application, the respondent no. 2, Mr. Kheshito Yeptho had passed away on 28.09.2025. The said information was not immediately available to the applicants/petitioners herein, and on receipt of the said information, and after confirming the said fact, they have proceeded to institute the present interlocutory application with prayer as noticed herein above. The learned counsel for the respondents appearing in the matter have not objected to the prayer made in the present interlocutory application. Accordingly, this Court permits the substitution of the original respondent no. 2 in the connected writ petition being WP(C)/230/2023, with his legal heirs, i.e, Nikaho Yeptho, Hokato Yeptho, Inaho Yeptho, Kivikhu Yeptho, Vinoto Yeptho and Kitoka Yeptho as respondent nos. 2 (i), 2 (ii), 2 (iii), 2 (iv), 2 (v) and 2 (vi) Page No.# 3/3 respectively.
