GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in opening a Rowdy sheet vide proceedings no C.No.74/GLSDO N(R)/2011 dated 05.04.2011 on the file of the 5th Respondent police station as illegal arbitrary and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and violative of AP Standing orders consequently to set aside the same” 2 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioner. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, rowdy sheet was opened against the Petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against him. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the Rowdy Sheet opened against the petitioner vide C.No.74/GL-SDO.N(R)/2011 dated 05.04.2011 by Sub Divisional Police Officer, Nellore Rural Sub Division, SPSR Nellore District, is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
