Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the Respondent-State. 3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that there are no previous antecedents against the petitioners herein. 4, Perused the record. 5. On hearing learned counsel on both sides and on perusal of the record, it is seen that the present crime was registered on 18.09.2024 and 15.260 Kgs of Ganja was recovered from the possession Of the Petitioners herein. They have been in judicial custody since 18.09.2024 and best part of the investigation is over. What was seized from the petitioners herein was not in commercI'al < fed._ quantity. Considering the length of detention and the quantity of contraband involved, this Court is of the opinion that any further detention does not seem necessary. Hence, the prayer is granted. 6. ln the result, this Criminal Petition is allowed with the following conditions: i) The petitioners/Al to A4 herein shall be released on executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) each with two suretI'eS for a like Sum each tO the Satisfaction Of the learned Special Judge for Trial of Cases under NDPS Act-Gum-I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Vizianagaram. ii) On release, the petitioners shall appear before the station House Officer, concerned, once in a week i.e., on every sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 01.00 p.m., for a period of three (3) months. iii) The petitioners shall make themselves available for l'nvestigation as and when required and that they shall not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the prosecution witnesses.
