Also heard Ms. Pichano, learned Government Advocate, Nagaland, appearing for the State respondents. 2. The petitioner’s case is that he has been appointed as Ferro Printer on compassionate ground vide Office Order dated 24/05/2023, issued by the Engineer-in-Chief, PWD, Nagaland, in terms of the Government approval issued vide letter No. WH/Est/47/06/(PP-II) dated 17/05/2023 in the pay Level-2 (16100- 50900/-). 3. The petitioner joined his post on 26/05/2023. However, the petitioner has not been paid his salary till today. 4. The petitioner also submitted a representation dated 26/11/2024 for payment of his salary, but the same has not been decided by the respondent authorities till date. 5. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that the actions of the respondents does not appear to be fair. Accordingly, the respondent nos. 3, 4 & 5 are directed to pay the petitioner his salary from 26/05/2023 till date, in terms of the petitioner’s appointment vide Office Order dated 24/05/2023, within a period of 2 (two) months’ from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if not found ineligible on some other count. 6.
