Solo, learned counsel for the appli- cants. I have also heard Ms. Bichano appearing, on behalf of Ms. Livika, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents. This is an application seeking leave of this Court to amend the writ petition W.P.(C) 93(K)/2018. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that there has been some error with regard to the identification and address of the petitioner which needs to be corrected. There- fore, prays for amendment of the petition by inserting para- graph; 4(a) “That the petitioner is the adopted son of Vikiye Zhimomi, the then Chief of Viyito vil- lage. This practice is permissible in the customs and practices of the Sumi Naga tribe”. It is submitted that the above amendment if allowed, would not cause any prejudice to the respondents. The learned counsel for the respondents has no ob- jection to the proposed amendment of the writ petition. Page No.# 4/4 In view of the above, prayer for amendment is al- lowed for insertion of the new paragraph 4(a) as stated above. With the above, I.A. stands allowed and disposed of.
