JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER O R D E R 30.07.2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Kekhriesenuo, Mr. Moa Imchen, learned Senior Government Advocate for the State respondents and Mr. N. Mozhui, learned counsel for respondent no. 8. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, Smti. Pauni, who was appointed as a contingency paid Animal Attendant on fixed pay of Rs. 3,000/- by an Order dated 04.04.2012. The petitioner submitted representations seeking for granting of scale of pay. However, the petitioner’s representations were not considered. Hence, being aggrieved the present writ petition has been filed praying for granting of minimum scale of pay to the petitioner. 3. During the pendency of this writ petition, the State Government has issued an Office Memorandum No. AR-3/GEN/67/2001 dated 05.03.2025 by which the State Government had conveyed an approval for conversion of fixed work-charged and casual employees to scale of pay as per Revision of Pay, 2015. The said O.M. states that all work-charged and casual employees in all the departments whose names have been duly verified by the District Level Verification Committee and registered in PIMS Page No.# 3/3 receiving fixed pay shall be granted scale of pay as per the Revision of Pay, 2015 with effect from 01.04.2025. The O.M. dated 05.03.2025 also directs all the Departments having work-charged and casual employees to expedite the conversion accordingly. The counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that she is yet to receive scale of pay till date. 3. Learned Senior Government Advocate, Mr. Moa Imchen has not disputed that the O.M. dated 05.03.2025 provides for conversion of work- charged and casual employees on fixed pay to scale of pay as per the Revision of Pay, 2015. 4. This petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the respondent nos. 5, 6 and 7 to consider the petitioner’s case under the O.M. dated 05.03.2025 and to grant scale of pay with effect from 01.04.2025 as provided in the O.M. dated 05.03.2025, within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 5.
