Suokhrie, the learned Additional Advocate General, Nagaland who submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner has been duly considered and rejected and the petitioner was informed about the same vide the communication dated 22.02.2024. A copy of the said communication dated 22.02.2024 has been placed before this Court which is kept on record and marked with the letter “X”. Page No.# 2/3 2. The learned Additional Advocate General further submitted that in the meantime, the Government of Nagaland has already come up with an Office Memorandum bearing No.AR-3/GEN-67/2001 dated 05.03.2025 whereby all the Work-Charged and Casual Employees in all the Departments, whose names have been duly verified by the District Level Verification Committee and registered in PIMS, receiving fixed pay shall be granted scale of pay as per the Revision of Pay, 2015 w.e.f. 01.04.2025. 3. Taking into account the relevance of the said Office Memorandum dated 05.03.2025, the Office Memorandum dated 05.03.2025 is reproduced herein below:- GOVERNMENT OF NAGALAND PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS DEPARTMENT (ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS BRANCH) NAGALAND: KOHIMA No.AR-3/GEN-67/2001 Dated Kohima, the 5th March, 2025 OFFICE MEMORANDUM Sub: Conversion of Wages of Work-Charged & Casual Employees to scale of pay as per Revision Pay (ROP)-2025 On the recommendation of the Nagaland Work-Charged and Casual Employees Commission and in pursuance of the Cabinet’s decision conveyed vide letter No.CAB-1/14/2023 dated 25th February 2025, all Work-Charged and Casual Employees in all the all Departments, whose names have been duly verified by the District Level Verification Committee and registered in PIMS, receiving fixed pay shall Page No.# 3/3 be granted scale of pay as per the Revision of Pay, 2015 with effect from 01.04.2025. Therefore, all Departments having Work-Charged and Casual employees are directed to expedite the conversion accordingly. Sd/-Dr. J. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner therefore submits that in view of the Office Memorandum dated 05.03.2025, he would further not insist to proceed with the instant proceedings. 6. In view of the above submission, this Court closes the instant Contempt Proceedings with the observations and directions that the Respondent Authorities shall consider the petitioner’s case in terms with the Office Memorandum dated 05.03.2025. 7.
