Satish, learned Standing Counsel for Petitioner; Sri K. Ramalingeswar Rao, learned Counsel for the Respondent No.1 (appearing through video conference); Sri P. Ravi Kumar, learned Counsel for the Respondent No.2 and Sri Manoj Kumar Bethapudi, learned Counsel for the Respondent No.3. 2. The present Contempt Case is filed complaining the violation of the Status-quo Order that was to be maintained until furthers passed by this Court on 26.04.2024 in W.P.No.9854 of 2024. The Respondents have filed their Counter Affidavit. Thereafter, Form-I notice was issued to the Officers/Contemnors on 09.07.2025. In compliance with the Orders of this Court, Sri S. Satyanarayana, Ex-officio Secretary, B.C Welfare Department, Ms. P. Madhavi Latha, Secretary, MJPAPBCWREIS and CHK Siva Kanth, Superintendent, MJPAPBCWREIS are present before this Court. 3. Learned Counsel appearing for respective Officers have recently filed the Counter Affidavit along with the Proceeding bearing Proc.Rc.No.Estt./1695/A1/2013-1, dated 06.08.2025. Relevant portion of the Proceeding is usefully extracted hereunder: “In the above circumstances, the BCREATA filed Contempt Case with No.1654 of 2025 in Hon'ble High Court in the reference 2nd read above, against the orders of the Asst. Secretary - I as given to Sri Ch.V.Siva Kanth as there are 'Status quo' orders in 9854 of 2024 and notices was received to this Office in the reference 3rd read above. In view of the Contempt case filed by BCREATA the matter has been re-examined and it is decided to keep the Promotion given to Sn C.H.K.Siva Kanth as Asst. Secretary-I (Respondent-3) in abeyance subject to the outcome of the W.P. No.9854 of 2024 of Hon'ble High Court of A.P.” 4. The above extract would indicate that the act of violation is withdrawn namely the promotion that is given to the Respondent No.3 in violation of the Order of this Court dated 26.04.2024 in W.P.No.9854 of 2024 has now been un-done by the Officers. The Officers who have appeared before this Court 3 physically in compliance with the notice issued under Form-I have also confirmed this position that the said Respondent No.3 has been reverted to the post of Superintendent. 5. In this view of the matter, the Respondents have purged themselves from the Contempt. They are, accordingly, discharged from the Contempt and also from personal appearance. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed. No Order as to Costs. 6.
