For petitioner : Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan For RR 1 to 3 : Mr.U.Baranidharan Special Government Pleader O R D E R This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 06.12.2024, wherein the petitioner is seeking for a direction to the respondents to make necessary corrections in the encumbrance certificate with respect to the measurement variation on the East West as 33 feet instead of 39 feet based on the sale deed dated 21.08.1985, registered as document No.2589 of 1985 on the file of the 3rd respondent. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3. 3.When the matter came up for hearing on 25.02.2025, this Court directed the learned counsel for the petitioner to produce the relevant 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.5429 of 2025 documents to establish that such correction has to be undertaken in the encumbrance certificate. Accordingly, the matter was listed for hearing today. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out the order passed by the State Information Commissioner dated 09.01.2024, wherein a direction was given to make necessary corrections. This process shall be completed by the 2nd respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
