Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the absolute owners and possessors of the agricultural land admeasuring to an extent of Ac.2.00 cents out of total 12.80 cents in Sy.No.62 of Ganugapenta Village, Tarlubadu Mandal, Prakasam District, having acquired the same from their ancestors. While so, without having any right or possession over the 4 subject land, the 5*^ respondent mutated her name in the record records illegally. Therefore, the petitioners made a complaint before the 4'^ respondent. Pursuant to the said complaint, the 4 respondent initiated enquiry vide proceedings in RGB No.77 of 2024 and also issued notice dated 18.12.2024. But the 5^^ respondent did not attend the enquiry. Due to the absence of the 5**^ respondent, the 4**^ respondent kept the enquiry in abeyance. Hence, the present Writ th Petition. 4. On the other hand, learned Government Pleader for the respondents issued written instructions dated 07.07.2025 issued by the 4'^^ respondent, wherein it is stated as follows: “It is humbly further submitted that the enquiry on his fresh petition dated 02.06.2025 is in progress, we will follow strictly due process of law and will take action as per the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and Rules framed therein as the subject land is patta land. “ 5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and on perusal of the written instructions furnished by the learned Government Pleader for the respondents, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondents to complete the enquiry pursuant to the notice dated 18.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders in accordance ^ 5 with law, within a period of three(3) months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. 6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel miscellaneous application, pending, if any, shall also stand closed. ' Sd/- U.
