JUSTICE KAKHETO SEMA JUDGMENT & ORDER (ORAL) 11/02/2025 Heard Mr. Joshua Sheqi, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Moa Imchen, the learned Senior Government Advocate for the State respondent. Mr. Joshui Sheqi, the learned counsel submits that in the light of the order dated issued by Government of Nagaland, Finance Department (Budget Monitoring Cell) placing the additional fund of rupees 2537.95 lakh for payment of placement arrears in respect of the employee under University Grants Commission which also includes the petitioner, the writ petition may be disposed with a direction to the State respondent to pay placement arrears to the petitioner along with the similarly situated employees, who have retired from service. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed with a direction to the State respondent to pay placement arrears to the petitioner as paid to the similarly situated employees who have retired from service. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed.
