The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 29.2.2024 passed by this Court in Writ - C No. 6634 of 2024 whereby this Court had directed the Nagar Nigam, Ghaziabad to demolish the encroachments once the police support is provided. There is nothing on record to show that police support is provided to the Nagar Nigam and in any case, it is for the Nagar Nigam to plead that police support has not been provided to it. It is not a case to institute proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 at the instance of the applicant. The application is dismissed.
