JUSTICE BUDI HABUNG ORDER Date : 28-01-2025 Heard Ms. Ayala Imchen, learned counsel for the petitioner. I have also heard Ms. S. Mere, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of all the respondents/alleged contemnors. This petition was filed for deliberate disobedience of this Court’s order dated 07.12.2023 passed in WP(C)228/2023, whereby the respondents were directed to release the arrear and current salary of the petitioner w.e.f. January 2023 till date. Ms. S. Mere, appearing on behalf of all the respondents/alleged contemnors submits that the order and direction of this Court has been duly complied with. She has also placed a letter dated 22.01.2025, issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, informing that, in compliance of the Court’s order dated 07.12.2023, the Directorate of School Education has paid/released the salaries of Shri. Azelim Yimchunger (petitioner) in full till April, 2024 on 16.12.2024. The payment details has also been enclosed with the said letter. The said letter is kept on record and marked with the letter ‘X’. Ms. Ayala Imchen, learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledged the receipt of the salary of the petitioner.
