The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are arraigned as Accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.95 of 2025 on the file of Mahila Urban Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, for the offence under Section 85 of BNS and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 3. It is further submitted that, though the police issued a notice under Section 35(3) of the BNSS, to the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 2. 4. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the police have issued a notice under Section 35(3) of the BNSS and that the investigation is in progress. 5. Recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is disposed of with a direction to the police to strictly comply with the provisions of Section 35(3) of the BNSS and not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners without following the due process of law.
