At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the judgment passed by the coordinate bench of this Court on 1.11.2023 in batch of petitions with CWP No. 5536/2020, titled as Sanjay Kumar vs. State of H.P. as lead case. She further submits that the petitioners have already made representation (Annexure P-2 colly.) to respondents No. 2 and 3 seeking consideration of their case in light of the aforesaid

judgment and the petitioners shall be satisfied at this stage in case time bound directions are issued to respondent No. 2 and 3 to consider and decide the same. 3
Prayer being innocuous is allowed. 4
Without adverting to the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P-2 colly.) in light of the judgment in Sanjay Kumar’s case (supra) within eight weeks from today by passing a detailed and reasoned order.

Needless to say that in case the petitioners herein are found similarly situate to the petitioner in CWP No. 5536/2020, they shall be extended the same benefits as have been granted to the petitioner in the aforesaid petition. 6
Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
