Case No.290 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 69, 79, 351(3) of the B.N.S., 2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner had sexual intercourse with the informant by adopting deceitful means of promising to marry the victim/informant. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is next submitted that admittedly, even after knowing that the petitioner is a married person still the informant was having physical relationship with him for a considerable period of time; which goes to show that this is a case of consensual sexual relationship. It is next submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as has been mentioned in para-10 of this bail application. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case, during the trial of the case. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 01.03.2025 as is evident from para-09 of the instant bail application. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned Addl.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XX, Ranchi in connection with Nagari P.S.
