Item Nos. 5 & 6 IN THE HIGH COURT OF MANIPUR AT IMPHAL
CRP(CRP.Art.227) No. 55 of 2025 With MC(CRP(CRP.Art.227)) No. 2 of 2026
Laiphrakpam Tomba Singh
Petitioner/s Vrs. Leimapokpam Ongbi Tondon Devi (died) represented by her 6 LRs
Respondent/s
BEFORE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. M. SUNDAR (ORDER)
21.05.2026
When the matter was taken up, Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel on record for revision petitioner sought leave of this Court to withdraw the captioned CRP(Civil Revision Petition) and the captioned MC(Miscellaneous Case) therein saying that certain inadvertent errors have crept in and it has become necessary to file the CRP afresh after making course correction.
Learned counsel submitted that the captioned MC has been filed with an amendment prayer but as that may become very cumbersome, he is seeking leave of this Court to withdraw the captioned CRP and captioned MC therein, saying so, learned counsel has made an endorsement in the case file and a scanned reproduction of the same is as follows: LAIREN MAYUM INDRAJ EET SINGH Digitally signed by LAIRENMAYU M INDRAJEET SINGH Date: 2026.05.21 17:53:46 +05'30'
Learned counsel requests for preservation of rights to file the CRP afresh. Learned counsel also makes a request for return of the certified copy. Leave granted. In the light of the narrative thus far, captioned CRP and captioned MC are disposed of as closed/withdrawn albeit with preservation of rights to file the CRP afresh after making course correction. Registry is directed to return the certified copy of the impugned order to the learned counsel on record for revision petitioner under due acknowledgment.
CHIEF JUSTICE Indrajeet
