Learned counsel for the State raises an objection with regard to maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that in the representation which is sought to be decided, grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was not paid increment and in the writ petition bearing WPS No. 407 of 2024, filed by the petitioner also, one of the relief is for grant of the yearly increments. In support of his contention he has relied to the Para No. 8.7 of the writ petition as also the representation submitted by the petitioner. 2. After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner admitted that in the earlier writ petition of the petitioner bearing WPS No. 407 of 2024, one of the relief sought is for increments for which petitioner is entitled and the writ petition is pending consideration. 3. In the aforementioned facts of the case, the second writ petition for same relief, i.e. increment would not be maintainable. 4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
