Also heard learned Government Advocate, Ms. Seponglemla Chang for the State respondents. 2. The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for regularization of his service as per the Office Memorandum dated 17.03.2015. It is submitted that the petitioner, Mr. Jeb Bahadur was appointed as Work-Charged Khalasi under the establishment of the Executive Engineer, PHED, Mon w.e.f. 21.08.1989. It is stated that the Government of Nagaland in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (Administrative Reforms Branch) had issued an Office Memorandum No. AR-3/GEN-201/2009 dated 17.03.2015, which lays down the provision that all existing Work-Charged and Casual Employees of various Departments who are enjoying scale pay, and who have completed 30 years or more of continuous service as on 01.01.2015, will be regularized by conversion of their post into regular ones personal to them. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner has fulfilled Page No.# 3/3 the criteria of the Scheme dated 17.03.2015 but his case has not been considered by the authorities till date. 3. The learned Government Advocate, Ms. Seponglemla Chang has produced a copy of the Office Order No. CE/PHE/EST-WC/R-30/2016 dated 13.09.2024 by which the service of the petitioner has been regularized w.e.f. 02.01.2020. Accordingly, learned Government Advocate submits that the petition may be closed as the prayer of the petitioner is already complied with by the Government Authorities. 4. This Court has considered the facts and circumstances and the submissions made by the counsels of the parties and as the petitioner has already been regularized by the aforementioned Office Order dated 13.09.2024, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present matter.
