2. Status report dated 14.10.2025authored by Lalit Sharma Executive Engineer (Building)-II Keshavpurarm Zone, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, has been handed up in Court today and the same is taken on record. In the said status report, it has been stated as under:-
“3. That pursuant to the demolition action by the respondent MCD, the owner of the 4th floor assured to demolish the unauthorised construction by himself. It is submitted that the owner of the 4th floor has demolished the wall of one of the rooms. The photographs of the demolition done by respondent no. 4 are annexed herein as Annexure R/2.
4. It is submitted that the respondent MCD has inspected the subject property on 11.10.2025 and found the demolished part to be intact and in an uninhabitable condition. It is further submitted that upon This is a digitally signed order. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. respondent no.4 taking action to remove and demolish the unauthorised construction, the respondent MCD shall ensure that the entire unauthorised construction is removed and, if necessary, will take further action on the subject property.”

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the pipe inside the wall of the property has been punctured and the construction is still continuing.
4. Let Mr. Lalit Sharma, Executive Engineer of MCD, appear before this Court before the next date of hearing.
