When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Ananda Kumar, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents on instructions submits that an amount of Rs.6000/- (Rs.500/- x 12 instalments) was deducted from the pension account of the petitioner and all the pensionary benefits have been settled to the petitioner by the Revenue Department. 3. In the said circumstances, since the pensionery benefits have been settled to the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands closed.
